David Lilley
- Graduated from Sheffield Hallam University in 1988 and gained an MBA from City University in 1993
- Joined the Treasury department of Credit Agricole Indosuez in 1988, transferring in 1992 to the corporate finance department (specialising in cross border M&A) and in 1994 to a Senior Executive position within the structured finance division
- In 1998 became a Director at Friends Ivory & Sime Private Equity plc (now ISIS)
- Founded Cornerstone in 2000
Chris Collins
- Qualified as a chartered accountant with Coopers and Lybrand Deloitte in 1990
- Spent 2 years in Dixons Group finance department
- Joined Electra in 1996, helping to raise and invest the first European buyout fund (€1bn) for Electra Partners Europe
- Founder partner of Cognetas LLP, following Electra Partners Europe raising its second fund (€1.25bn)
- Founded Cornerstone Private Equity in 2008
Ben Hewetson
- Qualified as a chartered accountant with Coopers and Lybrand in 1995
- His early career included corporate finance at Charterhouse Bank and leveraged finance at Bankers Trust
- He Joined Hg Capital in 1999 and Teachers in 2008
- Joined Cornerston in 2011
Liesl Lamare
- Moved from South Africa to England in 1999 and graduated from King’s College London with a degree in Business Management
- Worked for the Economics and Securities departments at Standard Corporate Merchant Bank, in South Africa
- Joined Deloitte, gaining experience on a variety of audit and corporate finance projects
- Joined Cornerstone in 2008
